At Home

Through excellent deductive reasoning skills I assume you have come to the conclusion that I have arrived home safely with Miss Prada—the fact that I’m posting again gave it away, right? J

So, how'd the first plane ride go? Perfectly. No whining, no crying....she popped her head up once during takeoff and again during landing looking for an 'ok' from me but other than that she slept the whole trip through (she’s more relaxed about flying than most passengers). Didn't even twitch an ear when the flight attendant brought beverages and little snack stuff around.

At the end of the flight we got introduced to a four-year-old and a one-year-old on board and since she was off harness Prada got lots of loves and pets (we’re very happy to distract munchkins wherever and whenever we’re off harness).

Other than that the day was quite uneventful. Got home, got introduced to the house and the family, and the only one that's not impressed is the cat. He came in, took one look at Prada, bolted, and fluffed up his coat to increase his size threefold. Prada got up and wagged her tail but didn't bother pursuing, lay back down and rolled over for a bellyrub.

I plan on taking her with me to church tonight. Mom's got a rehearsal with a musical group so there will be fewer than ten people there and I'd like her to get used to the building before we meet everybody Sunday morning. I intend to only bring her to Sunday School the first time around so hopefully by doing this I can cut down on her rambunctiousness until she settles in.
