She's settled in to her new home, new park place, new routine quite nicely and I hope to have her firmly scheduled by the middle of next week, as best I can here with my own rather erratic schedule. She's making me structure my days a bit more, which I probably needed anyway :)
I hope to take her to my dad's office next week, as well as the local community college, the YM/WCA's pool, and a few other business places, maybe a grocery store. Some of these are errands I have to run, but I really don't have that many places I need to be in this particular summer since I'm not working or volunteering anywhere. So I'm making special outings to keep her in practice for when I get to school and have a more crowded schedule.
I expect the posts will be fewer and farther between for a while but I'll definitely keep writing. Haven't found any international dog guide law websites yet but I'm still looking, for those who are curious.
(This first summer was particularly difficult for me and Prada. Fresh out of school, an energetic and enthusiastic team finds themselves living temporarily in a rural area with no sidewalks and three miles off the bus routes. No job or school for three months, no volunteering, few actual reasons to elave the house until the fall semester ends. It was a struggle to find reasons to get out and work Prada to keep our skills up, but we managed.)
